Following on our earlier post of Rajanitai's and Binatai's visit to President's house....

We would like to share that they had a good forum meeting with our honorable President, Mr. Kovind on the 3rd of January 2020. Among other NGOs in the forum, two NGOs from Maharashtra had received the invite for the meeting - one being DSS. It was indeed an honour.

About Door Step School

Door Step School provides education and support to the children of pavement dwellers, slum dwellers, construction site families and many other underprivileged families.

Many of these children are not enrolled in school and have limited access to books and a place to study.

Many children drop out of school to work or care for younger children. With neither support nor resources at home, some children also suffer from very low learning levels.

Door Step School is trying to bridge this gap by bringing education to the "Door Step" of these underprivileged children.
